The sirens will sound a solid 10 minute blast when a tornado is sited near Scott City. Shelter may be found at City Hall, 221 West 5th turn right at main stoplight intersection. Enter on West side of building. If it is evening or night and no one is there, wait a minute or two, as our retired fire chief will come to unlock the doors.

Avenue 1.75 miles. Turn left (East) on Albert Avenue and go ¼ mile to emergency entrance. In the middle of the building is the Main Entrance. The Scott City Clinic is located inside the Main Entrance and to the right. Follow the circular wall around. Clinic is open weekdays 8:00 – 5:00.
